This 10 hour course covers basic safety issues of the General Industry Standard 29 CFR 1910. This course covers a variety of topics including: Introduction to OSHA, Walking and Working Surfaces (including Fall Protection), Exit Routes, Emergency Action plans, Fire Prevention plans, Fire Protection, Electrical Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hazard Communications and many other areas.

Soil excavation is require to build and maintain pipelines for transporting natural gas and other structures. In the process of excavation the soil may become unstable creating conditions that may result in cave-ins.
Maintaining a Safe Working Environment While Excavating (Competent Person) - $145.00
- Recognize and avoid unsafe conditions resulting from earth excavation

PERFORMING AS A FIRST RESPONDER TO A NATURAL GAS EMERGENCY

As a first responder to the site of the reported gas odor, your responsibility is to make the premises safe until a trained service person can respond.
Performing as a First Responder to a Natural Gas Emergency - $125.00 (6 Hours)
- Check for the presence of a gas-in-air mixture inside and outside buildings
- Check the free air for the presence of carbon monoxide (CO)
- Perform as a first responder to an emergency involving natural gas
Damage Prevention - COMMISSION APPROVED TRAINING CLASSES / GUFPA TRAINING

If your company has been assessed a civil penalty for a violation of the Georgia Utility Facility Protection Act with the offer to attend a Commission approved training class in lieu of paying a penalty, you may choose to have your employees attend damage prevention classes presented in English, Spanish or both.
